Seven cardio exercises that are super fun.

When people think about cardiovascular exercises, all they can think about is running, cycling, or swimming. No doubt there are great ways to get your heart rate up, but not everybody enjoys these exercises. Cardio should be a crucial part of your healthy lifestyle, and fortunately, there is not one size that fits all approaches. If you're looking forward to incorporating more cardio into your exercise routine, you should not be intimidated by the seasoned marathon runners you see around your neighborhood. Healthy heart workouts may not include spending hours on the treadmill, several exercises help you get in the mood, and you can enjoy them.

Why should you go for cardio exercises?

Cardio is defined as a great type of exercise which gets the heart rate up and keeps it up for a long time. Your blood vessels will expand to bring more oxygen to the muscles, and your body will release natural painkillers. Cardio has several benefits. It can help you lose weight and also help you get rid of heart disease.

Seven cardio machine exercises which are super fun

There are several cardio machines options available out there. You have to think outside the box and try something new. The crucial thing here is to stick with any successful workout while discovering an activity you enjoy. Once you find an exercise that you love, you would be having so much fun that you will have no time to think that you are also improving your health

Treadmill

You don't have to look like one of those power walkers to make the most of the benefits of cardio. You just have to step outside and pick up the base. You can easily do power walking by jumping on the treadmill and you're good to go.

Air bike

If you have spent any time on the air bike you would know that it is your best bet for cardio. The bike looks like it came from the 80s but it is perfect for kicking. The harder your pedal the higher the wind resistance becomes. You can try intervals of pushing as hard as you can for around 30 seconds and resting for one minute.

Spinning bike

The spine bike has minimum oomph as compared to the air bike but it can be a great choice for cardio. You can do a long distance session with some high intensity intervals or go to a spin class full. New riders need to be careful sitting on the less than comfortable saddle for a long time as it can lead to some awkward bruising.

Elliptical

The best part about an elliptical machine is that it has a great body and it's a less impact option. It does not offer a lot of versatility but it is a great cardio option that you can try out and it is effective in toning down your body.

Upright bike

The upright bike is your best bet if you want to tone down your legs. Firstly you have to adjust the seat so it is at a height that is appropriate for you. You need to keep both the feet on the pedals comfortably with your knee slightly bent at the bottom position. Now you have to move the seat forward so that your front pedal is beneath the knee. The best part about the upright bike is that it can tone all parts of the legs including your chords and when you push the pedal down it switches to the hamstrings as you bring the pedal back up.

Air rower

The rowing machine works your lower body and also your upper body besides abdominal muscles the main legs muscles which are used with the rowing machine include the quads and glutes but to reap the optimum benefits you need to sit on the seat and strap your feet in the footrests hold on to the handles with both arms and bend your knees and tuck them in the chest. Engage the core and push from the legs driving yourself back. Ensure you keep your back straight and bring the handlebar to your chest your legs should be straight always.

Recumbent bikes

There are several ways to fit this cardio in you. You can just swap your car for a bike on your next trip to the grocery store. You can switch it up and ditch the treadmill for the stationary bike on the next trip to the gym. You can also bite the bullet and dry the indoor cycling studio that you have been eyeing for the past few months, or you can buy a trainer to ride your road bike in the house or garage. The Recumbent bikes are a great option for those looking for a comfortable and effective cardio workout.
